Heroes of the Mobile Infantry

The Heroes of the Mobile Infantry stand ready to do their part for Earth, Mankind and the Federation! Having joined the Mobile Infantry, they have all decided to place the importance of the body politic above their own personal safety. The Mobile Infantry Sniper is a crackshot with the Morita Long and can easily nail a Warrior Bug at a hundred yards, targeting its vulnerable nerve stems. He can even hurt and slow down a Tanker Bug at range with one well-placed shell. The Morita Long is a relatively cheap weapon and many squads in the Mobile Infantry are assigned one to provide versatile squad support. At the other end of the spectrum is the Tac-Nuke Trooper. Armed with a Javelin carrying a single Pee-Wee tactical nuclear warhead, this Trooper represents a massive expenditure on the part of the Mobile Infantry but there is no doubting his ability to annihilate an entire platoon's worth of bugs with a single shot! Leading these men into battle is the Lieutenant, accompanied by his faithful Neo-Dog. Strong commanders are essential for the smooth running of the Mobile Infantry on the battlefield and the Neo-Dog, a cybernetically enhanced hound, extends the Lieutenants senses to a degree few humans can appreciate. Watching over all the fighting Mobile Infantry is the SICON Advisor, drawn directly from the ranks of Military Intelligence. Though few Troopers will believe every piece of intelligence they receive, most will have respect for this high-ranking advisor and rumours of his incredible psychic abilities will only enhance his prestige in an MI unit.
